Chelsea Hernandez

Chelsea is a Columbia, SC native who moved to Spartanburg in 2018 to further her education. She is a double alum of Converse University receiving a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2021 and a Masters in Management in Professional Leadership in 2023. During her time at Converse, Chelsea became actively involved in every leadership opportunity she could to grow and develop as a leader on campus.

With a passion for helping others and a desire to lead others to success, Chelsea pursued the Campus Engagement Coordinator for the Converse College for Women. She believes all students have the ability to make an impact, her passions are mentorship, leadership, and giving back to her community.

Chelsea rejoined her Converse family as a staff member in the fall of 2023 supporting student leadership and success within the CCW. As an alumna, she sees the value of connecting the community with the mission and vision of Converse.

In her spare time, Chelsea loves spending time with her husband, friends, and younger siblings. A fun fact about her is that she is that fall is her favorite season.
